Tropical Battery distribution network consists of company retail stores and a dealer network. These networks are supplied from a central warehouse which utilizes 6 company owned delivery vehicles. Deliveries are made islandwide 6 days per week. Tropical Battery is known in the Jamaican automotive industry for its ability to meet customer order requests in short time, sometimes within one hour of an order being made.

Retail Network
Tropical Battery has five retail outlets strategically located across the island. Stores are located in Kingston, Montego Bay, Mandeville, and Ocho Rios. These stores account for approximately 44% of the company’s overall sales. In addition to the five Tropical Battery retail stores, a recent agreement with Total Petroleum has added an additional two retail outlets which are positioned using the brand, Tropical Battery Express.

Dealer Network
Tropical Battery has a dealership network consisting of over 400 dealers located across the island. This includes several exclusive relationships where those dealers do not carry competing brands. This includes all Shell gas stations and all Total gas stations. Dealers are supported by a team of company sales representatives and a Training Officer Tropical Battery provides to them free of cost to educate their staff regarding battery technology, and the company’s products and services.

Corporate Customers
In addition to Tropical Battery’s two major distribution networks, the company also provides sales, service, and support to several large organizations. These include Cable & Wireless, the Jamaica Public Service Company, Jamaica Urban Transit Company, AMECO Caribbean, the Sugar Company of Jamaica, Windalco and St. Ann Bauxite Partners bauxite mining companies, several local golf courses including Caymans Golf and Country Club and Constant Spring Golf Club, and the Jamaica Port Authority to name a few.
