• Tropical Maintenance Free – This is a full maintenance free line sold with a 24 month warranty. This line is targeted at the upper income market.
  
  
• Tropical Premium – This a low maintenance line sold with a 24 month warranty. This line is targeted at the Middle to Upper Middle Income market.
  
  
• Tropical Economy – This is also a low maintenance line. Batteries in this line are usually a lower capacity than those in the Premium Line. This line is sold with a 12 month warranty. This line is targeted at the Middle Income and Commercial market.
  
  
• Permalife – This is a low end battery sold with a six month warranty targeted at the Lower Income market. This brand is used as a fighter to combat any new entrants into the battery market. The company carries a limited range and quantity of batteries in this line.
  
  
• Autopower Battery – In October 2005, Tropical Battery acquired Autopower Battery, the number two battery brand in the Jamaican market. Combined with Tropical Battery sales, this gives Tropical Battery an estimated 75 – 78% market share in the battery distribution business.

In addition to the automotive lines, Tropical also distributes batteries for Motorcycle, Marine, Industrial and Stationary applications. Recently, Tropical Battery entered the VRLA battery market used for UPS systems. This market is showing a lot of potential with tremendous growth. It is felt that this will continue as the level of technology being used for all types of purposes increases.

Tropical Battery is the authorized distributor in Jamaica for Hankook and Nexen Tyres. Tyres are the company’s second largest line of products accounting for 26% of overall sales. The company carries a comprehensive range of tyres for both passenger and commercial purposes. Hankook has recently embarked on a marketing thrust in the U.S. and was recently appointed as an OEM supplier to Ford. Hankook’s increasing popularity along with the proven quality and performance of this brand should bode well for Tropical Battery.

Tropical Battery is the authorized distributor for Quaker State Motor Oils and Lubricants. This brand is considered premium motor oil and is one of the five best selling motor oils in the U.S. Over the last few years, Tropical Battery has promoted this brand heavily and is now experiencing a high level of demand for the Quaker State products. It is expected that this high level of demand will continue due to increasing brand recognition in the market and the outstanding quality of the product.
